Horribleeeee don't know how it got good reviews
Walls are paper thin youliterally hear everything and everyone's convoalways peoplehavingsex I rarelywritereviews. I either write them when the place is amazing or horrific. In this case this place was terrible and I would never ever recommend to my worst enemy. Only plus about the place is the location close to train and decent amounts of food in walkable distance. The room was so tiny when we got up from the bed we stepped on our luggage literally no room. Shower had a half of a door guess that's normal in Europe. But water got everywhere I even slipped and fell pretty bad. The room service cleaning was terrible sheets and pillows had weird marks and the shower was moldy and horrific. Maybe they have better rooms I'm not sure but ours was a horrible scene. I didn't even wanna touch anything. Disgusting. Shower head itself was moldy as well. Didn't feel clean at all. Couldn't wait to leave. The hotel staff was rude and pretty much no help. But they did speak English that was a plus. We asked for an extra towel and they said don't you have some in your room ? That's not the typical reply I expect I expect them to go above and beyond and get me what I want. I mean that's my experience in 90 percent of places I stayed. He tells us ok well bring you up a towel in 10 min. Never came lol. I asked one guy at front desk to print out Eiffel Tower tickets because to my understanding you had to print them. So he did it but only one came out and said idk sorry. No help.bedwashardasarock

Value for money hotel in the heart of bastille
The staff were very friendly, really helpful with me. The room was very clean when I arrived and the temperature of the room was very good. There is tea and coffee in the room, which you can have. The bath is of very good size and there is separate bath and toilet in the room, in order to give to customers more space. The temperature of the water really appropriate and there was no issue with the pressure of the water. The breakfast is of great value, since the croissants and the bread were very crispy and fresh. Also, there is fresh orange juice and the coffee is a real instant coffee and not that one that you get from the majority of coffee shops in the UK. The hotel is placed very close to local restaurants with great food and very close to metro station of Bastille, where you can take ether the line 5 for Gare du Nord, in order to go to Charles de Gaulle (directly), or you can get the line Nr 5 where you can go to Louvre Museum (highly recommended) and Arc de Triumph both directly), or you can go to other very nice Paris attractions, like Orsay Museum (highly recommended), Eiffel Tower, Hotel de Invalides (highly recommended). Also close to the hotel there is a local cafe with marvellous ice cream, coffee and some sweets and the name is Amorino (it is small, if you want to stay and enjoy your macaroni or ice cream, or coffee, but is very clean, the quality is very good and is 2 minutes walk from Bastille, underground station)

Poor 2.0
Hotel is close to metro.
Hotel staff and the hotel sucks. We went to the reception to enquire a few things about Paris from the staff, everything they also say don't know. So unhelpful to help us. We had three rooms, and all three do not have aircondition. We went to the reception to complain, they say they will ask someone to check only on the next day. Yet on the next day, the condition is still the same, so we went down and ask again. Then to be told that there will only be aircon on summer. Felt so cheated that it wasn't even stated when we book this hotel. The lift, corridor and rooms are all very small. On the last day, we booked ourselves a taxi, but the driver couldn't find our hotel, and he is better versed in french, so we asked the reception to help us communicate the location , he said he said no. Just because we did not book a cab through them , they refused to help.

Good 6.0
Looks can be deceiving
When booking the hotel the pictures looked very nice, so I booked mainly based on that and the location. This is a hotel with small rooms, the cleanliness could definately be improved, the small elevator looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for a year or two. The air con in the room didn't work, although the light went on when activating it, but the room was still hot all night even though it was only 5-6 degrees C outside. During one night some drunk partygoers woke me up at 4 am being really loud in the hallway outside my room, with the noise coming through the door as if it was made of paper. Not really the hotels fault, but soundproofing to the hallway could be improved. Breakfast is not included and mainly consisted of some croissants, ham and cheese. Overall a disappointing experience.

Nice hotel in the Bastille area close to Le Marais
We were able to check into our room 10:30 AM, which was great after a long-haul international flight—We were ready to rest and recoup! The bed was comfortable. The room was small, but adequate. We had a less expensive room, so there was no view to speak of. The daily service of our room was good. The window faced the center of the building that looked down on to the breakfast dining room. We enjoyed this hotel; however, we probably wouldn’t stay here again. We would prefer something more central in Le Marais. This particular hotel is about a ten- to fifteen-minute walk in the central part of Le Marais. There were several restaurants located in close proximity (walking distance) to this hotel. Also, the Bastille Place Metro station is located at the end of the short block.
