Perfect stay for myself, husband and the dog. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was strong. Grills are available to use for a small fee, dogs are welcome and location is a short walk to weirs beach. The walk to downtown Weirs Beach and venues is perfect, short and easy. The cottages are comfortable and clean, but if you are a larger taller person they may not fit you well as the shower and bathroom is smaller than average. That is to be expected from these 50's style lakeside cottages. You're here for the views which are stunning.

This place looks good on the internet, however, cottage 32 (run). There is a futon in first room for a couch which is so low to the floor you practically have to roll out of it to get up, next you go into a hallway converted into a cooking area which has a stove that looked like it was pulled out of the dump, rusty and inside was totally disgusting. Piles of grease probably never been cleaned. The microwave was very old too and the toaster had rust on it. Now we get to the bedroom- big room which was nice BUT that’s where it stops being nice. The bed was a full size almost queen but more of a full. In such a big room they could have splurged to a queen to make the stay better for paying customers. But,, it doesn’t stop there- the bed was TERRIBLE! Couldn’t even rate a 0. Hard lumpy, and VERY VERY OLD!!!! The worst bed I have ever tried and I mean tried to sleep on. We got very little sleep and both had back aches from it. The makeshift pad they had on this bed and sheet came off and boy do we wish we hadn’t seen the mattress!!! RUST AND MOLDY ON ONE SIDE OF THE MATTRESS!!!!! Are you kidding me!!! DISCUSTING! I took pictures! We were so disgusted and even though we had one more night booked we left after attending a concert in the area! Never again will I stay at weirs hotel and cottages! Stay clear of this place! They want your money, but do nothing to make you want to come back or make it comfortable for there guests!!! Not worth the money they charge!!! YUK!!!!
