Incredibly helpful and attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble for them! We actually slept incredibly well, first time in ages, and almost missed breakfast. Facilities are good, location is ideal for Lostwithiel and Fowey etc.

Pros: nice and queit area, free parking, price Cons: The walls arent sound proof at all, I couldnt sleep as I could hear the neighbour's snoring. literally we could hear everything, luckily they weren't doing anything we shouldnt hear.

The property is easy to find, on the main road. Parking is down a small lane which leads to the back of the hotel. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. When we walked down the corridors, we were a bit apprehensive as the doors for the rooms are very close together, and look quite old but once you open the door into the rooms, it is a nice surprise. Very clean,nicely presented with coffee and tea. Bathroom was clean, the shower was lovely and hot, although too low for my husband who usually finds this, anyway! The only criticisms were that the bed isn't that comfortable and the pillows are awful. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and are now glad we didn't eat dinner the night before, as the breakfast ingredients were not great quality - for the price - orange juice watery, tinned mushrooms and inexpensive sausages. It was an ok breakfast but not great. We would stay again but only for a night - it was good for what we wanted.

Staff was friendly and nice . Room service was disappointing as empty shampoo was in bathroom, and no water to drink in the room. Tube in bathroom was plugged in and bed sheet was old and there was a hole on it! The breakfast was great and plenty. The dinner in the hotel was amazing.
