Value For Money
Value for money is the order of the day. Friendly and hospitable staff got things off to a good start, and despite the room being small, good use of space meant there was more than enough in there, including an ensuite (expected), and a fridge (a pleasant surprise), which meant my early-morning Lucozade was nicely chilled. You will pay more for hotels that are nowhere near as comfortable as this.

Not worth it.
Water isn't drinkable in the room and you have to buy it in the lobby. They charged me nearly £100 extra for day number two despite the price being listed. The location and staff are nice though.

Short and uncomfortable stay
Great location, plenty of public transport connections within walking distance, the hotel is easy to find. The interior is run down, out of date and could do with a refurbishment. My general impression was that comfort of guests is not a priority. I booked the 10 sqf room which is literally cupboard size. The room was very cold (especially the shower) until the central heating was turned on in the evening (cannot be controlled in each room individually). The walls are paper thin, noise filters through easily from the surrounding rooms. Reception staff was efficinet but not friendly. Luckily I only booked for one night.

Traditional Terrance London Hotel. It was a little tired, but nothing to worry about. Breakfast was good. If you have a basement room, be aware that you get the rumbling of the tube below as they pass under.
