Park Hotel Asinara

Park Hotel Asinara

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent 3 night stay at the Park Hotel Asinara. We had a very comfortable Superior room, with a partial sea view and plenty of storage space. The breakfast was the best during our stay on Sardinia, fresh fruit, homemade savoury flans, eggs, preserves, etc. Pretty seating area. The shuttle to and from La Pelosa beach was a very useful option. It took about 15 minutes to walk the other way into Stintino for restaurants in the evening, (longer coming back as that was uphill!) The staff at reception were so helpful too, nothing was too much trouble. Well done Park Hotel Asinara. "

Club Esse Sporting

Club Esse Sporting

2/10 Terrible
"Our stay at Club Esse Sporting was disappointing. We got back both nights after 9PM, so there was no point complaining, but we found dirty sheets on arrival. Thankfully, the cleaning ladies noticed and changed them the next day. There were plumbing issues. The toilet didn’t flush, there was a bad smell, and all the water went into the shower. Breakfast was confusing. Nobody told us you can’t just sit anywhere, so we got yelled at in front of everyone for choosing the wrong table. Four coffee machines, none working properly, and the worst coffee I’ve had in Italy. You even have to carry a TV remote from reception. Do people really steal those? Not worth it, I do not recommend! "Consider renting one with AC during the summer, the heat can be difficult to handle. Also keep in mind that you will not have housekeeping unless you stay over 9 nights. There’s not a lot of flexibility on check in. Still, the place is a corner of paradise, beautiful!"
