Very good
Early September @ the Hotel Audran
We arrived super late, but there was still someone at the front desk to let us in. It was weird when i got up to our floor, because there were no lights in the hall. Super creepy. The room looked nothing like the pics on Hotel.com. Beds were super small and the room was too. No A/C, but a fan sitting on the desk. Thank God the weather had taken a turn and dropped to a decent temp, or we would have been cooked. There were nice french windows that opened up onto the street (we were on the 6th floor). It was a very nice feature that no other room we had stayed in had. The bathroom was very nice. here was a fantastic cafe right next door that stayed open till 2am and on the other side a great Italian restaurant. Location was AWESOME and right in the thick of Montemarte and like 4-5 blocks from Sacre Coeur.

Good
Clean but not what I paid for!
Was very disappointed as was a romantic stay away with my girlfriend, the rooms were nothing like what they looked like in the pictures (which is why I booked there). Although the staff were great and it was really clean, the maid came round early in the morning and was jangling the keys around for a couple of hours while cleaning and slamming doors. Impossible to sleep through if you wanted a lie in after a busy day site seeing. The room had a great view of the street we were staying on however, the plug socket was hanging off the wall, a table was stuck together with tape. I looked on the website and it said breakfast is included however, when we got there they said it was 6euros a day so we didn't bother. I know these things happen but the lift doors got stuck twice as well and my girlfriend is claustrophobic so didn't help things

Good
Hotel Audran is a mixed bag, but ultimately, I would not recommend it. The hotel has its positives. It's in a great location for exploring Montmartre and is 20-30 minutes away from the major Paris tourist attractions by metro. It's surrounded by shops and restaurants and is within walking distance of three metro stops - Blanche, Pigalle, and Anvers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was safe. However, the online pictures are very misleading; in reality, the hotel is much more run down. To me, that's false advertising (read: lying). It's clean, but they need new linens, some repairs/renovations, and upgraded infrastructure. The wifi did not work, and they should add AC units or at least fans to the rooms. Leaving the windows open is not an option if you actually want to sleep. I could hear all of my neighbors in the hotel and feel the bass from the nearby bars; I was also aware of every time the room above me flushed its toilet. Yes, it's a two-star hotel, but there are budget accommodations in Paris that are much better options than Hotel Audran.

Exceptional
Wonderful Hotel!
Stayed here for four nights with my teenage daughter and I am very happy with our stay. You do not get the same feeling here that you get in Paris (it's much quieter and simpler), but it's a great deal for the price. We didn't mind walking, taking public transportation or Uber to and from the city which is only a couple of miles away. The staff is super nice and friendly. Bathrooms are roomy (by French standards) and spotless. Location is near restaurants and train and bus stops. The only issue we had was with rude neighbors who played loud music late at night, and it sounded like it was in our room, since the rooms are so close and the walls/doors are not very soundproof. We were on the 4th floor and did not hear any street noise. Highly recommend this place.

Good
Week end in Montmartre
the reception team was very welcoming and helpful in general, being a frequent traveller ,I think the hotel was expensive for what it offered, for the price they charge ,you can get better quality in general across Europe. The Area is the main positive thing here, there is plenty to eat around and see. The room was just basic and in need of refurb, the Corridor can be very noisy as soon people are in an out. Upon on checking out I asked the reception to book me a cab and asked how much will it be more or less just to go to Gare du Nord, being told average 13€ Said ok, when I arrived it was 17.5€, the driver said there was 7.5 € booking fee. I was so shocked being misinformed, I paid 9€ the trip from the station to the hotel previously , so book your cab on the street if you need as it's a rip off their booking system.
