Nice Little Hotel
We had a very nice stay at Case Teresa and would certainly recommend it to others. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Their English is far better than my Italian. Room was nice enough, plenty of options for breakfast and some lovely views from the terrace. Like majority of the hotels around and about, you'll have steps to/from the hotel but it's not that hard to find (and hotel will send you directions if needs be). Walk in to town isn't all that long and it removes you from the central hustle and bustle. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity too. Beach isn't far away, but there's a lot of steps to get down there! Would definitely return to Casa Teresa

Enzo and his family were great! Very attentive and helpful. They arranged for us a drive through the cost back to the train station. We loved our stay and Positano!

10/10 Exceptional

This was a gorgeous B&B! We stayed in the bigger green room and it was so beautiful. The hotel itself was a little tough to get to, but we soon discovered that everywhere in Positano is tough to get to, because everywhere is only accessible by stairs no matter where you really go. Either that or steep roads. The surroundings on the terrance were full of green lush, flowers and other plant life. So beautiful. A decent view of the town with some cliffs and the sea in the distance. The property owner gave us a map and showed us where the quieter beach was, as well as some lesser priced restaurants nearby. Our room was cleaned everyday and toiletries/bar replenished. We were wondering why there seemed to be two single mattresses as one queen, but quickly realized that probably many properties have this, as all the homes and many hotels are tucked down narrow stairways - it would be impossible to hike through these cliffs by stairs with huge mattresses, and how would they even fit in the doorways anyway? The mattress itself was on the hard side, and there was only a sheet and thin blanket, but it was fine. Breakfast was served everyday between 8:00am and 10:00am. It had every food group: carbs (bread rolls, toast, little frozen pancakes you could toss in the toaster, turnovers, croissants); fibre with fruits; fats with cheese; protein with different deli meats and hard boiled eggs. There were different juices, and the owner offered cappuccino/coffee/espresso as well.

Casa Theresa is a beautiful and quaint place to stay in Positano! I highly recommend the place. You must be able to walk as there are many stairs. This vertical city, Positano, is many stairs, but absolutely breath taking!

2/10 Poor

My friends and I booked Casa Teresa for its affordable price and great reviews. Upon arrival we found that the safe in our room was broken and that we had no secure place to store our valuables. We then brought it to the attention of staff, who said that there was nothing that could be done about it. The next day I noticed that about €300 was missing from our room. When we brought it to the attention of the owners they accused us of lying and made us pay for our stay in full on the spot (as they feared we would leave without paying in retribution for our missing cash). Nothing was done by Casa Teresa staff to rectify the situation even though we were visibly upset and other guests had tried to intervene on our behalf to help. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst travel experiences we ever had and it ruined our stay in Positano. For this reason I would not recommend Casa Teresa.
