They stole our money. This was the sixth time in a row staying at the hotel. The first day we were checked in by a woman named Nedjoua Oukrid. I took a shower, got dressed and left my money, and my mom's money inside of a little bag, that bag inside of a larger bag, and that larger bag inside of a suitcase with a TSA Lock (grand total 13,000 euro) We went downstairs and nobody was at the reception. (You have to leave the key when leaving) and the door was closed and we couldn't get out. There was a sing saying something like dear guests I'll be back shortly. After a few minutes the woman came down and opened the door for us. We went around Paris for a while. When we came back around 11 pm I saw that the lights were on. I opened my closed suitcase, then the larger bag only to discover that our 13,000 Euros were gone. We went downstairs and told the night receptionist that our money was gone. He was completely rude accusing us of lying, telling us that we had lost the money on the metro and we were just making stuff up. I told him to call the police and the manager Claude Ohayon. I don't know if he actually did or did not. He told me I should go to the police to report the crime but he sent me to the wrong address. There, some police men gave me the right address but told me It was already closed and they would be in business at 9 am. I came back to this nightmare and the night manager was gone. Some other person was there and said he knew nothing about a robberyassess

Not the greatest atmosphere
This is a VERY run down old hotel. It is very basic and for sure needs some remodelling/updates. The carpet is very old and felt dirty. In spots they had cut out stains and replaced it with new patches of carpet. We didn't hear a lot of noises or street noise so it is pretty quiet. The shower sliding door was off it's track but the bathroom was clean. It is on the border of Montmartre very close to Sacre Coeur but getting into the less desirable neighbourhood. It is very close to the metro. I have traveled Europe extensively. This was my 7th trip to Paris. I never pay over $100/night and this is by far the most run down hotel I have stayed in. The breakfast include option listed here is not free it adds a breakfast fee hidden in the taxes at the end and it is insanely expensive. For us to choose the breakfast included option it added over $150 in fees for 3 nights. The staff is friendly enough, my only complaint is in the morning the cleaning staff leaves huge bags of laundry blocking the halls and it is difficult to get by. one morning they even blocked the doorway to the hall with heavy laundry bags and we couldn't exit. Definatly a fire hazard. The hotel states on the back of the room door that no food or drink is to enter the rooms so that is tricky if you want to bring your own snacks or breakfast. If you don't care about the condition and it's just a place to sleep it will be fine. I wouldn't book this hotel again though.

Poor 2.0
Good location, terrible hotel
We had requested connecting rooms but got separate rooms that were across a corridor from each other. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom in our room on the first night. We asked to be moved but this was not facilitated until the following day. We had to sleep with the windows open. There was no manager available to speak to at any time during our 3 night stay. We were asked on the second morning to pack our bags and they would be moved to the 3rd floor while we were out for the day. We came back in the evening and had to move our own bags. We acknowledge that we had breakfast to compensate for the inconvenience but this did not make up for unpleasant environment and unhelpful staff. We checked out on Wed 4th and the guy at reception hadn’t the decency to tell us that there was a train strike which caused us a lot of stress on our airport bound journey. The overall experience was very disappointing. We were treated with very little respect as customers. Our trip to Paris was a very special one for us as a family,as one of our children has been very ill but had made a complete recovery. This holiday was to celebrate this. Our experience at the Hotel Bellevue was terrible and very disappointing.

Exceptional 10.0
Dont fall
Amazingly great location! Kind of annoying having to turn your key in every time you leave, but it grows on you after awhile. We had a street view which was great, but the noise of crowds hanging out till late hours made it difficult to get a good nights rest. The bedding was fantastic and comfortable, but the room smelled misty and old. Don't fall stepping out of bathtub like I did making it difficult to walk the next few days and asking for ice was a challenge. The distance from tub to floor is long and there is no bar to hold on too for safety. It got a little chilly at night and the wall heater was the bed headboard so that wasn't going to work. The older man at counter gave me a dirty and very smelly blanket (so gross). Next day I was given a small space heater after complaint. Breakfast is not worth it. Not fresh fruit

Very good 8.0
Great location for a 2-3 night stay
The hotel: nice looking in the outside, yet basic. The hallways and dining room looked a bit depressing, but I found the place to be very clean. The rooms are very small, yet clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Don't expect fluffy towels, nor extra ones. The beds were comfortable with nice quality clean white hotel sheets. The customer service and cleaning ladies were excellent! They let us leave our luggage at the lobby at no extra charge for an hour or two. The area during the night time looks desolate since it's in a fabric district and the shutters are down, but during the day it's super colorful with tons of local action. Montemartre Cathedral and it's cute little town is super close and walking distance from hotel (8 minute walk). Supermarket, Franprix, is right infront of the hotel, as well as some bars and cafes all over during the day. Moulin rogue is close by as well. Overall it was decent, but not luxury. Great for 2-3 night stay.
