Lovely little hotel in the heart of Krakow
I would like to thank all the staff for making my stay wonderful. During the 8 nights I have spent at the hotel, every single interaction with all staff members I have encountered has been very professional, polite, friendly, helpful and discreet. The hotel is three stars, but the service and the facilities deserve five stars. The breakfast is really great. There is a lot of choice for all kinds of preferences. Personally I found it great that there were lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. The room (410) was very clean and very comfortable with an amazing bed! I loved that there was climate control and I easily could adjust the temperature to my liking and it worked very fast. Also, the room was very quiet. I could not hear a thing going on anywhere. That was awesome. The view was partly on a couryard and partly on the gorgeous nearby cathedral. There was free bottled water replenished by the housekeepers every day. Also, there was water in a cooler out on the 2nd floor. There was also a machine with free tea and coffee and a guest PC in a lovely little public space on the 2nd floor. The hotel also has a good spa for a very reasonable price. Obviously, the location in the very center is amazing and at the same time this particular street is very quiet. All in all I had a fantastic experience and would not hesitate to warmly recommend this hotel to any kind of traveler as well as to stay there again myself.

I was so happy to have chosen this hotel for my recent vacation in Poland. The location was perfect, very central with markets, shops, Castle and tram stops all within a couple of minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and well equipped. The Orangery on the first floor offered a drinks machine with a choice of coffees, drinking chocolate and lemon tea. I prefer tea with milk but given all the other drinks available this is a small negative only. There is also a large screen tv and tables. After a few hours sightseeing it was great to sit in the Orangery with my complimentary coffee watching developments on Brexit !!! Included buffet breakfast had a great choice of cereals, fruit, cheeses, meats, breads, juices, hot drinks and yoghurts. There was a choice of one type of hot spicy sausage, fried egg and scrambled egg which was not quite so appealing. But I enjoyed my Continental breakfast as there was lots of choice. The attached restaurant " The Black Duck" serves traditional, beautifully cooked Polish food. It is a very small restaurant and always busy so best to book. A 2 course meal with complimentary starter nibbles, wine and a Polish liqueur cost just under £15 per person. I highly recommend this hotel especially the reception staff who were always very pleasant and extremely helpful.

Very good 8.0
Lovely Central Hotel with complimentary breakfast
The hotel is a charming place with good air conditioning, chilled waster and a complimentary drinks machine in the glass conservatory overlooking the scenic courtyard (computer and complimentary newspapers too)! The room is very comfortable with blackout curtains a comfy bed and good air conditioning. I was expecting complimentary soap which I had from ad dispenser in the shower for the first few days. The shower has a soap dispenser which dispenses shower gel and hair shampoo. Mine ran out after two days and was not replenished! I twice asked at reception and was sent a small bottle of showered / shampoo which in the heat lasted for the evening and morning shower together with a small bar of hand soap. In the end I purchased my own shower gel rather than keep bothering reception, a little bemused as to the lack of the refill of the dispenser. This is where the problem is, there is nowhere to rest your soap, shower gel in the shower unit (the dispenser does not have a flat top) therefore you have to shower holding the shower gel / shampoo all the time. If they are not going to refill the soap dispenser, it would be good to hang a little rack for soap / shower gel to make showering a little easier. Lovely complimentary breakfast and a popular restaraunt a part of the hotel, and, although I didn't use them, spa facilities too.

Lovely elegant hotel, clean and comfortable
Wawel Hotel is a classy, elegant building with an interesting past. It's in a quiet, picturesque street, yet less than 15 minutes walk from all Krakow's central attractions. My room was well furnished, very clean and with high quality linen. The hotel has a lovely orangery, with a free hot drinks machine and a computer with printer ( for printing out boarding passes). The reception staff are very smart, pleasant, keen to help and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast room offered an excellent choice of fresh, nicely cooked food, yogurt, breads, fresh fruit, good coffee, etc and the waiting staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. The breakfast room is in fact in the adjoining restaurant, The Black Duck, where I also ate on a couple of nights, as it was a great opportunity to sample a range of traditional Polish cuisine - since I'm vegetarian, the staff helped me choose which dishes would be suitable. There is a very peaceful and pretty courtyard with a fountain at the back of the hotel. I would recommend this lovely, elegant hotel to anyone, the staff made my stay very enjoyable.

The hotel was beautifully decorated as you walked in, the little courtyard at the rear of the hotel was beautiful and so relaxing and our room was excellent, the staff were really friendly and helpful, I wanted a massage and it was arranged with no problem at all and the young lady who did it was excellent too. As the hotel was only a few minutes walk away from the old town Square it is ideally situated. The only down side for us personally was there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as we like to have a cup in the evening but there is a lovely little room on the second floor with a machine that has coffee and tea, but as I’m not keen on tea from a machine I didn’t try it. The hotel gets a definite 5 stars from us!!
