Good place; would stay again
Good location: convenient to reach restaurants and subway. Decent free breakfasts. Only gripe was that the beds were a little hard.

Breakfast not the best at this budget level but certainly not the worst.

Needed a central hotel for Tokyo and this worked out well.We stayed for a week which enabled us to meet up with friends and find our way around.Great location for us.The room was a wee bit small making getting around the bed difficult but this appears to be the norm here in Tokyo.

Overall a very happy and pleasant stay
This hotel is a really great, mid-range option in a central location in Tokyo. When searching for hotels, this had GREAT reviews and was very reasonably priced for this area of Tokyo. For that alone, it was a great deal. It IS a little shabbier on the inside than perhaps the photos show, but it's well decorated and always smelt really nice so we found it charming. There was one con that I read about beforehand- the rooms are relatively small- but that was fine by us. UNFORTUNATELY, this meant the bed also was quite small for two people that don't like being glued together when we sleep. So that is really the only major con about staying here as a couple. It was a firmer bed too, but had it been more spacious it would have been fine. With that said, we had really lovely service here. Everyone was very helpful and sweet, and I like that the Villa Fontaine chain is working on being more eco-friendly. For smokers, there is a little smoking booth in the lobby which my bf made good use of. If I was in Tokyo as a singleton, I would stay here again (or see if they have bigger beds in different rooms!)

Happy customers
The hotel is handily located a short walk from the Mitsukoshae subway station and the JR line Nihombashi station and not much further from a couple of others, making it good as a base for exploring Tokyo. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Like most in Japan, the room was small, and the bed and pillows are on the hard side, but everything you need is there. good value for money.
