Great hotel
The hotel was clean and modern. Great location, close to the bridge leading to downtown Charleston. Really close to patriots point and Shem creek. Lots of options for food all around. Enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I have is the housekeeping people were quite loud but 10/10 I would stay there again.

It was very frustrating and uncomfortable to see staff not following mask wearing requirements while working in the hotel. My bathroom tub was dirty. Dirt stains were visible on the shower walls and hair strands were in the tub.

A pleasant time
I stayed here for 6 nights. For the price, it’s a great hotel. You can request housekeeping if you want it and there is a small breakfast bar in the morning with bagels/yogurt / cereal. Everything was clean and it was only a 10 minute ride into Charleston. I have no complaints.

Unfortunately this holiday inn is not up to the usual standards I would expect of this hotel chain. When checking in our room had bedspreads with stains, although they did redo the room with clean linens when requested. Tables in the breakfast area were not sanitized in between eaters and sanitizing materials were not available to do it yourself. Their laundry room was available but they could not make change for you to be able to use it. This would not be my choice the next time I come to Charleston

Great Hotel
The rooms were awesome, updated and clean, customer service was exceptional. We didn’t get checked in until around 4am and the lady working night shift was so nice, she even told us to go ahead and go the the breakfast area and get some stuff to take to the room, so we wouldn’t have to worry about coming down since we were so late checking in. Very reasonable price as well. Would definitely recommend.

The room was great (mostly clean), and staff was great (very friendly, personable, understanding when I addressed the cleanliness issue), but the hallways were very dirty (I.e. clumps of hair lying in front of most doors, small pieces of trash scattered throughout the halls as well— looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks).
