Worth the visit without high expectations
Enjoyed our stay in a Heyson room. Spacious but tired. Resort is undergoing room renovations aiming to be completed by Feb 2023. WiFi did not work in rooms but apparently available in main complex. Restaurant was popular and food was good. Could not get a glass of Shiraz in the restaurant, Australia’s most popular red wine, even though on the wine list!! No clear explanation. Service was acceptable but not great. Some things are a priority!! Great walks from resort possible. Wilpena Pound is a must do. Make sure to visit Binman as well.
