Place was excellent, Clean and comfortable however the only downside is if you're looking to sleep in prepare to hear a bunch of noise every morning, next to no sound deadening so every morning doors and trolleys sound like hurricanes and trucks

8/10 Very good

We stayed here for a few days in October 2022 in a one bedroom deluxe apartment. The place was comfortable and clean, and in generally good condition. There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area (which does an effective job), and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The balcony was perhaps due for a bit of a clean, but the outlook/view is pleasant. You will tend to hear in the bedroom the sound of suitcases on wheels go by, as they make a repetitive thumping sound across the grout lines of the tiles in the outside walkway. Linen is automatically supplied, which is not usual for an apartment in Nelson Bay. The building is serviced by elevators, so all floors are accessible. The shower in a standard apartment is in a corner over the spa bath, which will not be a problem for most, although could prove to be a challenge for a person whose movement or balance is compromised. There is plenty of easy to use parking, some of which is undercover. Phone reception is 4G and OK (download at about 21 Mbps with Telstra), but wifi is included and the speed is good - download and upload at 60 Mbps and 40 Mbps respectively. The place is located between the bowling club on one side and the golf club on the other. It is about a five minute walk to a supermarket and about a ten minute walk to the marina. Location is handy.

Although, the property is a bit old but the amenities and the proximity to Marina is very close. Good location

The rooms were tidy and well presented. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The hotel was only a few mins walk to town centre.

Decent base for a Port Stephens trip
Stayed here over a long weekend - added an extra day and used the suite for remote work. Suite was spacious and comfortable, great balcony view. Plenty of free parking. WiFi was great. Nice big pool, and the steam room gets to a good temperature (although need to book with reception). Overall a great base to stay in Nelson Bay - easy to find and a short walk into town. Perhaps a little expensive for the amount of facilities, but enjoyed our stay.

6/10 Good

Really loud noise outside (maybe pump from storm water drain), very hard to sleep. Fan really noisy. Bad smell in room, room next door had had a water/sewerage leak so I think the smell travelled to our room. Our room should not have been available to stay in.
