I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a welcoming and amazing stay, and even though my flight times changes three times, they still managed to get me a ride to the hotel promptly on my airport arrival. The food was great, it was so clean, and little surprising touches to my stay that made me feel like royalty. I will 100% stay here again!

Centrally located oasis with lovely pool, bar and restaurant. Arrived early and we were accommodated with a ready room, and shuttle arranged to take us very efficiently to the airport day of our departure (only a 10-15 min drive away). Staff very professional - even down to tour of the included breakfast, which included hot food options and a beautiful spread of options. Would recommend!

Lovely quiet hotel in the centre of town. A buffet breakfast had all the requirements - coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, eggs and toast. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant was exceptional and there was a bar area for a quick drink and lunch. Local restaurants were a short walk away and tours of the area picked us up around the corner. Small markets were close by to pick up a snack or drinks. Would highly recommend.

This is a very nice hotel. The location is excellent. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool and spa are beautiful. We loved the our rooms outdoor patio. Everything is top notch. We had an early flight, needed a taxi ride. Front desk staff were kind enough to take us to the airport. This was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this hotel.

What a fantastic hotel. Situated in the heart of the city making it easy to navigate. Pedro and his staff cannot be more helpful, always with a smile and genuinely interested in making sure you get the most from your stay. The breakfast was wonderful, I cannot tell you much about the selection as on the 1st morning I had the Eggs Benedict, then the second day etc etc, that's how good they were. The pool has a wonderful serene feel to it and we were lucky to have it to ourselves. If you are planning any time in Ponta Delgada I can highly recommend this hotel.

6/10 Good

Ok we arrived after reading lots of reviews which mentioned noise from the street so we got room 202 which is the quietest (indeed it was quiet) The wellness studio (pool etc) was a bit “tired” and some of the jacuzzi stations didn’t work and there was no attempt from management to fix it The food wasn’t great - in particular the second day (Sunday) the bread wasn’t fresh and the coffee is just from those machines you can find in a cheap hotel Room cleaning happens very late at 3pm or so which is not ideal if you want to take a nap

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Ponta Delgada. We were very comfortable in our room with the added luxury of a small terrace with climbing vines for reading and sitting in the sun. The breakfast was wonderful which included many options, all delicious. The restaurant and cafe were great also. The grotto pool and sauna were a nice option after hiking and a well designed experience for relaxation. The hotel serves as an art gallery and we enjoyed learning about local artists. The staff were great! Thank you Nine Dots Hotel for a memorable experience. Catherine and Marco

We loved our stay! We went for our honeymoon. This hotel is in a fantastic location. Very walkable, we did two day tours and did not feel like we missed out with not renting a car. The pool and sauna were lovely, the breakfast was always good! We ate at the bar one night and the food was also great!
