Another great long weekend
We always enjoy our stay at The Lodge at Deadwood. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and casino are friendly and very accommodating. The 4 of us were upgraded to a family suite which made our stay very comfortable on a very cold weekend. My 89 y/o mother was with us and she doesn't gamble and it was too cold to take her outside. The restaurant hostess was so kind as to allow us to use a table to play cards with her each morning.

We were traveling with our senior dog and they were able to accommodate us with a 1st floor room close to the pet area. Great pool area for the kids and every meal was delicious with great service at their restaurant. There was also a shuttle available with service to downtown Deadwood. Definitely recommend.

Somehow received a balcony room( great ) but it smell like cigarette smoke 🙁 pool is nice for the little ones! Machines were nice, just might be more convenient to stay downtown. Think it will be a toss up next time I go.
