Central to everything
Having stayed here in the past for a hens night the apartment with 2 bedrooms and a view was amazing. This time around a booked a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony just for me and my partner. The front desk were very helpful and gave a discount on the parking, either that or when I emailed asking the price for parking it was wrong. Having arrived at the room I couldn't help but feel it was a lot smaller (lounge, kitchenette, bathroom wise) compared to the last time I stayed. But this was fine for 2 people. Walked out onto the balcony and there was a soaking wet hotel towel with cigarette butts through it. This is not a huge problem for me as I am a smoker and requested a smokers room/balcony, but maybe if they're going to offer that then they should have ashtrays to avoid damage and litter. The balcony was big and stared straight into the car park building, like we could jump the balcony into the car park from 4 floors up. I would suggest possibly putting a small table and chair set for outside if the balcony is going to be that big. Maximize on space maybe? After going to the loo notice that under the sink and drain pipe hadn't been cleaned or wiped down in a while. Although the rest if the apartment seemed to be cleaned thoroughly. We had a guest having dinner with us and wanted to extend our dining table for more space to find out the extension on the table doesn't actually work. Upon further inspection the bolts had rusted and wouldn't work without them.

Good 6.0
The property was fine, however it was nothing like the picture that was displayed when we went to book it. This is very disappointing when we are expecting the room that was in the picture and get a much smaller room and space. The picture was still a one bedroom but it had a full length couch, 4 seats at the table (instead of 2) and lots of space. We booked this because we were going to have visitors over for a couple of hours, but instead ended up in a very small space with not enough seating. Please when you advertise the room, make sure that you are using the ACTUAL room as the display picture! So disappointing, especially when everything is planned well in advance. thank you

Good place to stay, need a few tweaks recently....
This is my go-to place to stay in Wellington. The location is great, the room facilities are really good. The last couple of stays have had a couple of issues though - both times the check-in staff forgot to load my carpark access onto my security card (I realise this isn't a massive issue, but if you check in, immediately dash out to a training course, come back tired and find yourself having to find a park, wait in reception again, wait for it to be loaded, and then move your car again, when you're trying to get to out to a restaurant on time.... well, irritating!) and while the room is clean, the poor choice in pale carpet is showing with red wine stains next to the bed. Neither are major problems, but still, they add little wrinkles to your stay. Replace the carpet with something less stain-y, and get your staff to really double check when they load car parking onto our cards!

Good 6.0
Walking distance to town which was ideal.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable enough for 2 people, but the outlook/view put a damper on it - there was none! Not having a view made the room feel dark and enclosed and although it had a balcony that wasn't private as there were rooms directly opposite that could see right in. It definitely wasn't worth the $269 I paid, those rooms without a view need to be priced much lower. I would pay $100-$150 for that room purely due to it not having a view or natural light coming in. You wouldn't know it was a beautiful sunny day outside until you literally went outside. Location would be the only factor for me to book here again ... and of course a room with a view!

Good Location
Great location close to so much in Courtenay Place. Room ok - furniture getting on the tatty side. No air con and 1 fan - had to move it from room to room - pretty pathetic and boiling hot. Left balcony doors open but the noise was horrendous with yahoos and rubbish trucks etc at 6am on Sunday morning. Also looking forward to a swim and had to walk through carpark to next building and it was stuffy and dirty. Apart from that staff good, location fabulous, bed was great, had everything you need. Probably no complaints if in Winter.
