Old world charm
We’ve enjoyed our stay overall. The room was spacious, however bathroom a bit small. But I liked the L’Occitane toiletries as didn’t expect that. Breakfast was excellent as a lot to choose from the menu. The dining room was beautiful with views. The complimentary champagne with breakfast was a bonus.

Service and Sunsets
Wonderful true hotel service. We were greeted on check in. Our bags were carried as we were guided to our room and explained the facilities. All staff were lovely. Finished the day with a breathtaking sunset from the balcony and restaurant. A lovely romantic stay in the Heritage.

I was very disappointed that the “mountain view” could only be seen standing right at one window and looking at an acute angle. I was expecting to look out the room at a view in general. The “deep soaking bath” wouldn’t have accommodated a toddler and the bed was as hard as cement. Overall, a complete letdown and we were relieved when our three nights were up and we could head to our next destination.

The hotel charm was lovely, the room we had smelt horribly, it may have been above the restaurant, I was also disappointed with the view, I thought I would have a garden view but I was looking at an internal tin roof. Otherwise the room was large and the eating area/bar/lounge was delightful.
