Presentation and cleanliness was excellent, however the bed and pillows weren't that comfortably. We all had sore neck and back the next day.

Just ok
Short walk to the city but need to trek uphill back to the hotel. Ok for the fit and healthy, but not for those who aren't. Room was small but ok for a solo traveller. For couples, might be a little tight since theres a small cupboard to put your bag away and it has a mini fridge and ironing board in there. Bed and pillows were comfy but the hallway could be better insulated. Could hear conversations clearly when people walked down the corridor. The bathroom was roomy but the drain smelled. I could see down the drain the residual water from shower etc, so it was smelly (not as bad as a sewerage but bad enough) Thought it was weird not to have complimentary bottles of water upon arrival. Because it was a hot day when I got there, I had to resort to tap water from the bathroom. Room was clean but the housekeeping staff forgot to empty the fridge because the previous guests had left their opened bottle of sparkling water in there (and no, I didnt want to drink it even though it was chilled and I was parched!)

Good location easy access to everywhere. Good clean room

Fair 4.0
Overpriced and needs a refresh
The hotel is cheap and dated. The room is very small but that's no real issue. There was a cockroach crawling on my bed when I arrived back at my room the first night. The room smelled of mould, the bed head had marks all over, the phone didn't even work for me to call reception. There were weird things like a mini bar menu with no mini bar in the room. The reception staff seemed nice enough but my room key didn't work after the first time I used it. The bathroom is nice enough, could have been a little cleaner. I wouldn't stay here again.

Very good 8.0
Very relaxed place, good location, helpful staff. Disappointed in the cost of wifi, though. Australia needs to catch up with the rest of the world, where wifi is free, not delivered at a huge profit.

Disgusting
Extremely disappointed, staff rude and not understanding I would never stay at this hotel again.
