don't go past this hotel
The hotel and staff continue their good service and even the new trainees they employ continue the hotels standards. The rooms are looking a bit tired but they are still in good condition.

Pool is amazing!
Bathroom sink leaked continuously. Often had to re-ring reception to follow up on something we had spoken about down stairs half an hour prior. The pool area was amazing, great games and lots of fun. We tried to watch the ANZAC day footy match in Matilda's but left before the end of quarter time. The big screen was too light and we could barely see it. The building maintenance behind Matilda's meant that the audio was constantly interfered with causing a horrific noise that we just couldn't stand. The buffet breakfast is by far one of the best I have ever experienced anywhere around the world.

From good to bad
Wow, what a year can make with how a hotel I rated highly previously has now really become tired and disappointing. Firstly a can of cool drink with GST is now $5- and you can buy it for $0.60c from the shops. So lessened learnt at the pool with this purchase and I paid cash for the 2 drinks and they didn’t bring back my change for the drinks, and I asked for it and no one knew about it. Having paid extra for a delux room, I don’t think we ended up with this as we could smell the kitchen cooking coming into our room through the air conditioning each day. On the first night when we got in from the airport at 1.00am we had to call maintenance to come and re-wire the light switch board so we could turn off our lights. Next day we go to use the hairdryer and this had been ripped out of the bathroom and had to call maintenance again to get another one installed, after they left we found the PowerPoint in the bathroom didn’t work either. The next day I went to collect our passport out of the safe and the code we used on several occasions decided to die and again another call to maintenance to come and open the safe with their keys. The hotel is starting to feel and look tired as well and such a disappointment as this was one of my favourite hotels in Kuta, sorry you have now lost my business and I look forward to sampling one of the many hotels spending money upgrading facilities for us discerning tourists.
