Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel and pleasant staff. The room was large and clean, although much more dated than we expected, especially the bathroom, which seemed very old. There were parts of the hotel under construction however, so hopefully this is on the agenda to update asap. Certainly not currently what we'd expect from a five star hotel.

Good location
The hotel is in the midst of renovations, so some unavoidable noise and dust. Reception staff superb. Bar staff very friendly, though bar hours were shorter than advertised. After a comment to the manager this was partly rectified. Our room itself was disappointing. The shower was over the bath and the water did not run out, so the bath was a bit rusty in places. Bed super comfy, however.
