Location, and view from last floor is great. But some of the staff (ladies from the reception & kitchen/restaurant) was really rude, and their attitude to us was (at least) NOT pleasant and NOT welcoming.Except the reception man on the first night: very nice, professional, helpful person.I was "hosting" 2 friends there, one after another-their impression was same as mine.During my other 8 or 9 stays in Paris I never experienced something like that, and never felt as I did there. Few times too many,I was put in a situation that I would not wish to anyone.Dissapointing, for this beautiful city.First, some money were missing from my open safe (my mistake, forgot to close it, but missing money should never happen in a professional hotel) -and they were telling me that I am making a mistake, and I lost the money somewhere. fridge at the room unfortunatelly - but the reception man proposed us to use the kitchen fridge /which was nice, and when I handed him our cheese and wine to put it there - he let us do it by ourselves.Which on our last day was the reason for the kitchen/restaurant lady to treat me like a child,by shouting at me and claiming in French to the reception that even if the reception man previously let me go by myself-it is his business, because she will not accept it.They asked to pay a night before we left, but they asked too little (I told them) and on the next day they behaved like I wanted to cheat them. Then reception lady asked if we were Russian, sounding really rude.

Charming little hotel in fabulous location
We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Hotel Regyn's in Montmartre. The hotel had a charming feel and even though the lift was almost too tiny to fit the two of us in, the shower drooped slightly and the shower door was a bit wobbley, none of that detracted from the overall pleasure of staying in such a well located hotel which was clean and comfortable (slept really well) Right next to Abesses metro station and surronded by great cafes, bistros, pretty streets and shops. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and the fact we could leave our luggage in reception prior to check in and all day after check out was really very welcome and made a big difference to our arrival and departure days. We would stay there again without hesitation

Hotel Regyn's
Typically Parisian hotel and I don't mean that in a bad way! Ok, the rooms are tiny but you open the lovely old wooden windows to hear the sounds the lovely Rue des Abesses below. So atmospheric! It was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated in an almost 19th century way. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Montmartre itself is gorgeous, if a little pricey due to tourism. The bars and cafes are always bustling but never in a rowdy way. I'd definitely stay in Hotel Regyn's again. A word of caution though. A gang of kids tried to make off with my bank card as I was using an atm. After entering the pin number, one tried to distract me whilst one of the other side of me tried to eject my card and make off with it. There was no violence involved (except me shoving them away and shouting at them) but just be aware that these things happen. They happen everywhere. I didn't put a blot on my trip at all. Hotel Regyn's defintely recommended!

Great Location in the Heart of Paris!
Hotel Regyn’s Montmartre is a cozy boutique hotel with a great location in Montmartre! Friendly lobby staff and smallest elevator ever, but if you have multiple bags like us, at least it’s better than taking stairs up to the 4th or 5th floor. Rooms were very cozy but had everything you’ll need, and the bed was very good!! Highlight was that we had a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower from our 5th floor window! Would definitely recommend this hotel for the value and good location steps away from the Absesses Metro stop.

Perfect location
Not a luxury hotel, but it's clean, comfortable, and economical. The location is amazing - there are cafes, pubs, restaurants, bakeries, creperies, clothing shops, souvenir shops, and so much more all within walking distance, and when you're ready to do some sightseeing, the metro station right outside the door will quickly and easily take you where you want to go. We stayed for a couple of nights near the Opera Garnier then moved to Montmartre for four nights. We just can't say enough about how much we loved Montmartre. It has all the small-town charm and amenities that are harder to find in the big city. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful, but I want to send a shout out to Natalie who was especially so. My only word of caution is that the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, so if you're planning to visit during the heat of summer, I'd suggest finding out if fans are available. The windows open, which worked fine for us, but might not be enough for everyone. My friends and I would go back again in a heartbeat.
