Location, and view from last floor is great. But some of the staff (ladies from the reception & kitchen/restaurant) was really rude, and their attitude to us was (at least) NOT pleasant and NOT welcoming.Except the reception man on the first night: very nice, professional, helpful person.I was "hosting" 2 friends there, one after another-their impression was same as mine.During my other 8 or 9 stays in Paris I never experienced something like that, and never felt as I did there. Few times too many,I was put in a situation that I would not wish to anyone.Dissapointing, for this beautiful city.First, some money were missing from my open safe (my mistake, forgot to close it, but missing money should never happen in a professional hotel) -and they were telling me that I am making a mistake, and I lost the money somewhere. fridge at the room unfortunatelly - but the reception man proposed us to use the kitchen fridge /which was nice, and when I handed him our cheese and wine to put it there - he let us do it by ourselves.Which on our last day was the reason for the kitchen/restaurant lady to treat me like a child,by shouting at me and claiming in French to the reception that even if the reception man previously let me go by myself-it is his business, because she will not accept it.They asked to pay a night before we left, but they asked too little (I told them) and on the next day they behaved like I wanted to cheat them. Then reception lady asked if we were Russian, sounding really rude.

Perfect location
Not a luxury hotel, but it's clean, comfortable, and economical. The location is amazing - there are cafes, pubs, restaurants, bakeries, creperies, clothing shops, souvenir shops, and so much more all within walking distance, and when you're ready to do some sightseeing, the metro station right outside the door will quickly and easily take you where you want to go. We stayed for a couple of nights near the Opera Garnier then moved to Montmartre for four nights. We just can't say enough about how much we loved Montmartre. It has all the small-town charm and amenities that are harder to find in the big city. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful, but I want to send a shout out to Natalie who was especially so. My only word of caution is that the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, so if you're planning to visit during the heat of summer, I'd suggest finding out if fans are available. The windows open, which worked fine for us, but might not be enough for everyone. My friends and I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Location, Great View, Quirky Hotel
We bsolutely loved staying in this location right next to the Abesesses Metro stop. Thi spart of Monmartre is a perfect combination of tourist and locals so you still get the full experience of France, and people still speak English. The hotel was nice and quirky but for the price it was just right. For a small fee we upgraded to a 'privilige room' so our room had a nice view of the Eiffel Tower, totally worth it. The only weird/inconvenient thing about the place is they only give you one key which you have to leave at the front desk every time to leave the hotel, it would make the experience more seamless if they just gave everyone a key. But overall service was great and the front desk was always very accommodating and friendly. For those with accessibility issues the elevator it VERY small.

Heaven in Montmartre
I loved it here! I was traveling alone in a solo room (#32) and I thought it was perfect for the price. It was literally on the square in Montmartre, directly on top of a metro station (steps from the door). Every type of food or coffee could be had in any direction. All of the receptionists were so sweet to me, I developed a friendship with at least half of them during my stay. Yes, it is small. So is the elevator, but I could not care less. Also my beautiful large windows opened up onto a garden and I could birds chirping all morning long. It was heaven. I never tried the breakfast as I preferred to venture out and find something local. Everyone here is kind and accomodating, it felt like a home away from home.

Great value for money
This is a great small hotel in one of the best neighbourhoods in Paris. Bars, restaurants, shops, cafés, metro... everything is on your doorstep. Montmartre and the 9th (SoPi) are two of my favourite neighbourhoods with a great Parisian atmosphere. Travelling solo, it is not always easy to find a decent single room at a reasonable price. This hotel seemed to offer the best value for money. It's only two stars, but the bed is comfortable, bathroom small but decent with good towels and products. It is an older building so there was some noise coming through the windows from the parc with the touristy 'mur je t'aime'. I slept well but it might be worse when you want to sleep with the window open in Summer. I had requested a quiet room and they gave me one on the 4th floor. Every staff member at the reception was very very friendly. On Easter Sunday, we found a box with artisanal chocolates in our room. They were so good! Great customer service, thank you! Would defenitely not hesitate to book again.
