Overall, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the location is great. However, there was something up with our bathroom that made it smell like raw sewage in there all the time, so you had to keep the door closed and the window open all the time or your whole room would smell. Also, the water pressure in the shower was definitely lacking and the bathroom needs major improvements. Parking was also problematic, especially with the construction nearby. That may be an issue for most hotels in the area, but was a huge pain for us. I would bypass this hotel for my next trip to Oberammergau.

Nice, friendly and clean
I liked this Hotel. Very nice, friendly and helpfull staff. Clean and modernized room. Breakfast was good with boiled eggs, scrambeld eggs, bacon, fruit, etc. Walking distance to Many restaurants (2-4 min). 10 min walk to the train station and 12-15 min walk to the NATO School.

Charming hotel in Oberammergau
Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains and was a great size and very clean. The included breakfast was good and not had a little for everyone. Staff was very helpful.

Perfect quaint village for sightseeing in Bavaria
We stayed three nights and found it wonderful. Great hotel and quaint village to come back to after a day of sightseeing. We were able to go visit the castels of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau from this hotel by car. The following day we went to Zugspitze. Friendly family owned hotel where great renovations have been made so all is updated and modern in a typical building that dates back a while. No restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty all around in short walking distances.
