Do not book if you have a car
Room too small for two people. Parking directions a nightmare, be prepared to waste time. Written Directions are hopeless, a map should have been provided with the route.Even the nat sav could not find the parking. Truly upsetting and unforgivable. Instructions are rubbish!

LOVED the look of our room and courtyard.
There were so many great things about this hotel and only one negative - we couldn't get WiFi in our room. I use it each morning and night when on holidays, just to check travel plans. It was quite annoying for me, and my daughter. Staff members, especially the male ones who served me, were very helpful organising a late checkout, luggage storage and booking a taxi for us. Their kind assistance was much appreciated.

Good location
Quaint little hotel in a good location (a few minutes stroll from plaza Nueva). Being so old and quaint, it's not particularly quiet (esp if there are travelling families with children...who like to run around the open air hallways & nick-knock on your door at all hours). The hotel staff spoke English and were very helpful. There is an elevator which makes it easier to manage your luggage. The bed was comfy. Could have done with a less 'pre-loved' pillow and better bathroom facilities, but it was all satisfactory. Free tea and coffee and sweet treats every afternoon was a nice bonus.

A gorgeous authentic hotel and great value
A gorgeous hotel that was previously an old palace. The hotel has a great atmosphere and hotel staff were lovely. The location is perfect for visiting the Alhambra and there are lots of little bars and restaurants tucked away in the cobble stone streets. They are however very heavily touristic, particularly the restaurants out the front of the hotel. My only comment would be that the room walls are thin, so you can hear people coming home and leaving in the morning early. This is particularly the case as each room looks onto a central courtyard. I would still definitely recommend, particularly for the price. A strong 3 star hotel

Hotel is in a fabulous location, great for sightseeing all the main attractions in Granada. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Only downside was no lift to the 2nd floor, but once the luggage was in the room it wasn’t a problem. The receptionist did offer help from a member of staff, but we managed it. The building inside is spectacular, only drawback was the acoustic sounds early in the morning. On one of the mornings during our stay it was particularly unpleasant and loud. Not the hotels fault or within their control. Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed it.

A great location to stay - loved it. We were very impressed with reception team, so helpful. Proper service, gave out maps, recommendations, helped us book tickets etc. Place very clean with smiley team and always on the go. No complaints.
