Absolutely excellent hotel. Staff are so welcoming, the hotel is super clean and modern. Great location to be in Gion, but equally close enough to others parts of Kyoto to explore on foot. MIRU Kyoto Gion is the best hotel we can ask for. It is so new, clean, spacious, quiet and beautifully designed and truly shows the Japanese aesthetics in a very modern way. It is in the center of Gion, very close to all the restaurants and shops, but away from the crowds. So the hotel is very quiet. It is also close to subway stations and bus stations. So it is very convenient to get around. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We liked MIRU hotel so much that we wished we could stay there longer. We strongly recommend MIRU Kyoto Gion to anyone who will visit Kyoto.
