This is a beautiful hotel in an exceptional location. My wife and I just spent 6 nights here in a deluxe room with a terrace. It was very comfortable, and very convenient. The museums are a 10 minute walk away. The city center is also easy to access by tram or on foot. In the mornings and evenings we walked in Vondelpark. It was just beautiful--close enough to everything, but removed from the business of downtown.

The stay at Maison Elle Amsterdam was overall very pleasant. The hotel is located in a cozy and quiet area, close to a park and tram stops, making it easy to get into the city center. The only downside was the service at the reception, where the young staff seemed unhelpful when asked about tourist attractions and canal boat cruises. A bit more local knowledge and a more welcoming attitude would have improved the experience. We did not try the breakfast facilities during our stay. Overall, it’s a nice place, and we would happily return.
