Great location in this beautiful part of Granada. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. The only downside was the taxi the hotel booked for us to go to the airport. All the other taxis the hotel booked for us were metered so we assumed the same when we asked them to book two taxis for the airport. The hotel didn't inform us about a fixed rate nor that it was unmetered so we didn't have a choice but to pay 30 euros for each taxi - pretty expensive given taxis are quite cheap in Granada.

The hotel itself is in a beautiful building and very nicely renovated and maintained. The location is also excellent - it is in the old town area but is still very close to the new town too (walking distance). It is also only a 10-15 min walk to the Alhambra. The staff were all lovely and very helpful - especially Aaron who checked us in and helped us with booking a taxi to the airport. We booked a double room but were given a family room which was large with a loft level. It was very clean, comfy and beautifully decorated. The breakfast buffet (10€ pp) was good with a decent selection of items. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to friends!

My previous poor review in September this year about room 35, has been removed. We were charged for a superior room with a view. Room 35 is tiny, to the extent that you cannot leave your case open during your stay and still move comfortably around it. There was very little space for out of case storeage. You had to climb into the corner to get a view. The bathroom was rediculous with the sceen at the other end of the bath from the shower head. I know there are better rooms that are what is expected but room 35 is incredibly overpriced for what you get. We were unable to complain as the few staff were costantly busy checking others in or out.

Original room was cave like. Room we were moved to with view of Alhambra was far more spacious. Great location. Free afternoon tea is offered but don’t go out of your way for it.

What a charming hotel that takes you back in history. It was good enough for me to stay in a charming atmosphere, a super friendly staff especially Aaron at the reception who went the extra leg to assist and guide. Highly recommended but with no vehicle.

Really enjoyed my stay, loved the afternoon tea. The staff were very helpful. Taxi can't get right to the door as the access is up a narrow lane, but the driver met me at the hotel .

We got room 20, which was one floor up. They have a lift, but there are still several steps from the main road to the hotel, and then also within the hotel lobby itself. The ambiance and decor of the hotel is nice and fits the style of the area, rather than being super modern/sterile. The checkin staff gave us a map and introduction to the city. The rooms do not have kitchenette so you can't boil water, but they have a communal tea/coffee room which is only open in the afternoon.
