Very good
This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Paris. The location is great; about a five minute walk from a couple metro stations and to Les Invalides area. We arrived from CDG, and it took 2 metros and a 5 minute walk to get to the hotel, which wasn’t too bad at all. You have a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower the second you step out on to the street. There are many bakeries and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Our room faced the courtyard, so it was very quiet save for a couple rowdy guests coming back late one night. The front desk staff was professional, kind, and helpful. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The king bed was very comfortable (two twins pushed together). Excellent value for the location and the king bed (hard to find!). You can pay a little extra for breakfast at the hotel, which was fine but nothing really worth noting. We ended up getting delicious croissants from a bakery immediately next door to the right a couple mornings, and they were wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Good
Be hungry to eat the breakfast. I had a croissant , not knowing, and it 11 E. Room was very small. Could hardly walk between the bed and toilet. Staff friendly.

Good
Disappointed and will never again recommend.
I first started at this hotel over 22 years ago. I have stayed there every time I have been in Paris. The last time8 or 9 years ago. I also have recommended it to a great number of people. The last being mr. frank Clarke who was a guest there earlier this summer and brought guests earlier. He advised that he stayed in the traditional part of the hotel as that is what I had raved about. He agreed that it was more expensive than he thought but felt that it was worth the experience. When I made the reservations for myself and the friend I was traveling they only put us (2 rooms) in the newly remodeled rooms. Needless, to say ,Ultimately, we were not at all Impressed nor pleased. The rooms were comically small and you had to walk sideways against the windows around the end of the bad to move into the bathroom.
