Carpet stained quite badly. We were told that the air conditioning would not be in use until the following week, notwithstanding we stayed at the hotel between 15th & 18th June and the temperature was very warm. We were given a fan. The toilet would not flush on our first evening there.initially and the young man in reception came to sort it out. The second evening on our return the toilet was continually flushing. The young man in reception advised that we should keep turning the water on and off in line with our requirements!! Our room was also lacking in storage and coathangers and there was no central light in the room. We were most disappointed as the appearance as you arrive at reception is most favourable, and the staff were most pleasant. Saint-Georges is a very pleasant part of Paris in which to stay but I would not revisit Hotel Arvor.

Very good 8.0
Overrated, too expensive for what it is.
The hotel was nice and the staff was excellent. But at four stars, this hotel is overrated and excessively expensive. There is no air con (and Paris was very hot). There was no desk, dresser or work table. They give only one bottle of water, on arrival, I was told that. after, clients are supposed to learn that they can drink local water. And the hotel start receiving very noisy delivery at 6h am right in front under my window. Which make it impossible to sleep. Big Problem : Discrepancies between my reservation and what I got. I had reserved with Expedia. When I made the reservation I reserved with a quotation in Canadian dollars, as required by Canadian law, The reservation was for 189CDN for each of the 3 days. But in the end I was charged in US dollars and the prices varied for the days: $202,65US for 2 days and $234.18US for the 3rd day, ie in US dollars: $266.49 for the 2 first days and 307.97 for the 3rd day. A difference of $46.21. Moreover I had reserved a room with breakfast and when I arrived at the hotel there was no breakfast included. Unfortunately this is not the first occurrence with with Expedia. Hopefully this will be the last.

Great stay.
Staff was very friendly and we were very please overall. Breakfast was pricey for what you received but we found a spot just down the road that served a great breakfast. Our room was quite small by North American standards but we were expecting that. Be prepared for a lot of street noise overnight. This is not uncommon in Paris and so you if you are a light sleeper you should look to get an inside room facing the courtyard. We likely look for this option if we stayed here again. Metro station is just around which was great for us. Also there was a group of cafes just and we are at several of the ones that were clustered together. There are also some higher level restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood as well.

Very good 8.0
Very good location, adequate for a long weekend
We booked a long weekend in Paris to celebrate our wedding anniversary, having only 2 days in the city we wanted somewhere centrally located so we weren't wasting time travelling in each day and this hotel is ideally located. The outside is very smart and the communal spaces inside are beautifully decorated and well maintained with some interesting art work on the walls, chic furniture and simple colour schemes. The room we booked which was the cheapest on offer - given the current eye-watering exchange rate of the pound - was fine for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean. The water pressure was good in the shower- though our shower head refused to point anywhere except the wall unless held still- and as other guests have mentioned the glass screen is not adequate to stop the room getting a little flooded. There was a slightly musty smell when we arrived which was easily remedied by opening the window each evening. The room was at the back of the hotel so there was no road noise at night, the first evening the bar in the street to the back had music quite late on their rooftop bar but the other 2 nights it rained so no such issues! The only real issues we had were that the room was too warm to sleep in with the window shut, but with it open we got bitten to death by mosquitoes and every morning we were woken by the horrible smell of smoking in the courtyard below!

Exceptional 10.0
This hotel is in a great location, close to the metro, restaurants, 15 minutes from Sacré Coeur. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the room itself is by far one of the largest I’ve stayed in while traveling throughout France. The common area had a couch that served as a twin bed and the other room had a queen sized bed. We had plenty of space for the 3 of us to move around. The bathroom was spacious as well. The hotel has an elevator and the room has air conditioning. I would recommend for anyone to stay here and would stay here again.
