The room was not what I had booked through Expedia and I had to argue with staff to be assigned a room as per booking. Staff insisted that the room booked (ie. Queen bed) didnot exist in their hotel. Very unpleasant. Breakfast was alos too expensive for what was provided. There was alos no indication in information provided that the hotel lift doesn't engage until the first floor so access is very awkward - up a very narrow, steep spiral staircase. Almost impossible with any luggage. Bars downstairs were also an unknown and were incredibly rowdy until late into the night.

Hotel was 30 metres next to underground , great for moving around, walking distance to Notre Dam and Louvre. Shops all around. Room in this hotel was very very small, lucky suitcases fittted under the bed . No cooling in room , had a balcony door ( no balcony) which opened but very noisy from cafes below. Our bathroom size was ok but others were not. Stairs up to first floor then a tiny elevator after that. Wifi was sporadic and had to keep logging back in. When this was mentioned to the front desk I was told ""what did I expect it was for free!!" and "it must be me as no one else had complained!!" . If I came back to Paris I would not stay here

Attic room very cosy. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. Outside noisy in morning through construction and street cleaners and at night with cafes. Ear plugs useful. Had all I needed except iron.

The stay was excellent and although we were in a busy part of Paris, the double-glazed windows kept outside noise to a minimum. The room was lovely and quite spacious.

Good place to stay in terms of closeness to the Metro and Paris environs. Very reasonable price and good service. We very much enjoyed our stay. The reception desk staff were very friendly (spoke both French and English) and the room was lovely.

I booked a twin room some months ago but in check in was told none were available. Wouldn't provide a roll away bed as an alternative either. I recieved no prior notice that a twin room was not available otherwise I would have booked somewhere else. Room was relatively clean but smelt like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. The shower head has no bracket so you have to hold it - most annoying.

Hotel is disappointing with staff that do not speak any English, with walls that are paper thin so you can easily hear what is taking place in the adjoining room, and very very tired. It is rated on some internet sites as three star - it is barely one star in terms of standard.

The hotel is clean and central but frankly is in need of refurbishment. For sight seeing in Paris, the location is excellent.

The place is very well located, but two things are not good: 1) the shower in the 6th floor is very tiny. I had to sit down to take a shower as I did not fit standing up and I am not tall. 2) one of the door keepers (Yossef) is extremely rude and slow. He was rude to me a couple of times, demanding I keep the key there without providing any explanation and then very slow when I was leaving. Check out took ages and i was late.
