Splendid Etoile Hotel

Great place right next to the Arc de Triomphe with great views - beautiful furnishings and clean and comfy. Get Le Bus Direct from the airport - stop is right outside. Or use the metro also outside the hotel. Only downside was the clatter of doors at night - mainly from bathrooms I think. But would stay again - staff were very friendly and helpful, and can't beat the location.

Our stay at Hotel Splendide Etoille was the absolute best part or our Paris vacation! A perfect breakfast with Boty each morning - immaculate service, white linen. Our concierge, Farooq was beyond helpful and accommodating, Our room was larger than expected, very comfortable and quiet. We had a view of the Arch de Triomphe from our balcony. Francoise at the front desk was very helpful with our currency and other matters. Can’t say enough good things about our stay at Splendide!! Highly recommend - 5 stars in our book!!

I had a suite on the last floor. Very beautiful view but the bed was super hard. Definitely too hard to sleep even for me despite I use a hard mattress home. Pillows were really uncomfortable. Due to this I did not sleep more than a couple of hours. the Location is very nice and the suite was nice too. Just the bathroom was nothing special and definitely not aligned with the price for the suite. I spend a lot of money for the room, more than six hundred euros. in the morning I discovered Breakfast was not included so I had t pay extra money for that. Definitely disappointing. for the same price I think I can find definitely better hotels.
