Not as expected
The best asset of this hotel is it's people! Hotel is very run down . Electric outlets are ripped out of walls; tiles coming off the bathtub; sink was broken; carpet is horribly old and we got TV working only once when one of hotel employees turned it on for us and it stayed all day on (next day we could't turn it on again). Also, we had trouble sleeping with all the noise from outside.Owners need to fix hotel up!!!! Your employees are great at trying to help customers, but condition of the hotel is "sorry". Will not stay there again.

Comfortable and convenient location
Reception was good, room safe was locked and they didn't get it open while we were there, so had to check our things at the front desk. Nice bathroom.

No ceiling fan-it was on a stand. Could not figure out the TV. ( but I did not ask for help) Very busy area-but my room was quiet. 2 minute walk to the Metro Wifi was a bit spotty-but overall good Staff were pleasant, and I could see they were making an effort with the other guests

A Central Gem for a Good Price
The hotel is very close to the Place de la Republique metro station, which is a hub for many metro lines so it's very easy to get around the city. There are plenty of places around to eat and drink. The room was small but perfectly good enough for a long weekend stay with wardrobe, desk and bedside tables. The shower cubicle in the bathroom is a bit tight to get in and out of but the shower itself is very good. Everywhere is spotless. There is always someone on Reception if you need anything. There is a lift.

Great value. Would definitely recommend!
The building is old but that didn’t matter. The rooms were neat, clean, spacious, and well ventilated. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. Location of the hotel was perfect. Less than a minute walk to the subway station.
