Perfect Hotel For A Couples Trip to Paris
First of all, the St. Germain area is amazing for food and situated centrally. Short walk to Notre Dame, subway a couple of blocks away and some neat shopping too. Secondly, the hotel is very comfortable (new beds arrived with us!) and the buffet breakfast is great (also delicious) if time is short. Are the rooms small? Yes, but only by North American standards; two of us with 3 suitcases and it was just fine. Service and cleanliness is first rate; make sure you say bonjour first and your request is fulfilled promptly. Housekeeping service is amazing; I walked in and saw for myself how hard they work; scrubbing corners and ensuring a clean comfy room after a "hard day" of touring! I will always stay here when in Paris and I hope to return very soon. Great job and au revoir Hotel De Fleurie.

Disappointed!!
Booked into a "superior" room, the view from our window was of a roof, with cigarette stubs where people had thrown them from their bedroom windows. Bulbs missing. Only 1 sachet of coffee, despite there being 2 of us. When we complained, we were told we could be offered alternative "superior" rooms, but all had the same awful view. If our room was superior, I wouldn't like to see a basic room!

The rooms were well kept and the hotel was close to walking of Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum and several metro stations. Bathtub was a little awkward to get in and out of but other than that everything else was great. Stayed 10 days.
