This was a nice, quiet, comfortable room —the “Partial Sea View” was ok in part of the room but beautiful from the patio. The bed was comfortable but the split in the middle was very noticeable. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very pleasant. The bus stop is very nearby, so it’s easy to avoid those €15 cab fares. (Don’t bother trying to buy a day pass.) The hotel restaurant was closed and since the hotel is a bit remote, meals were somewhat of a challenge—especially since we got one day of terrible storms and got drenched going out to eat. Our trip was at the very end of the season, so the experience would undoubtedly have been better before late October, so you can fully enjoy the hotel amenities and the island.

Positive: Nice Family Run Hotel very well located walking distance to Casamicciola. Very friendly Hotel staff Large swimming pool Highly recommend to book one of the room with sea view with large private terrace. Dinner is very tasty with homemade pasta and fresh fish every evening at very reasonable price. Possibility of spending the day in a thermal spa at a discounted price (O Vagnitiello) Negative: Nothing except maybe more variety for breakfast.

Friendly local hotel good mix of guests from a range of countries. Staff spoke some English which was a surprise as not usual in Italy and were very helpful with using the public transport and the local area. Great pool area with a jacuzzi that was never too full and so was relaxing. Made a great base for visiting the island. Had my evening meal at the hotel twice and was great value for money and very tasty.

An unusual hotel constructed on a number of floors connected by stairs and walkways. Access to the roofs for sunbathing and wonderful views. A lovely swimming pool (always warm) and pleasant surroundings. The best thing about the hotel is the family who own and run it. They can't do enough for you. The hotel only served breakfast and lunch and dinner involve a bus ride if you don't hire a car. If you do hire a car you'll need strong nerves to avoid the locals on their scooters all of whom have a death wish.

After reading reviews of this hotel I knew it would be a good choice, the hotel is run by a lovely family, who are welcoming, Domingo on reception spoke perfect English, and gave us information about the island and how the logistics work, he was also able to give us vouchers for the thermal park which we took advantage of. The room was large with a wonderful sea view, very basic and the towels had seen better days, the pool area offers plenty of sunbeds, and a thermal jacuzzi, this is a very romantic hotel with small courtyards and fruit trees growing around the area. The hotel is located at the top of Casamicciole Port, 15 minutes down hill to the beautiful town, 20 minutes up along the sea front, but the bus stops right outside the hotel, but be prepared to battle with the crowd, ischia port is more 40 minutes walk down hill, and we took the bus back every time, there is a fruit and Veg shop opposite the hotel and a supermarket about 7 minutes all away, there's a great Pizza restaurant next to the supermarket which e ate there twice, €3.50 for a Napoli Pizza, can't go wrong! the only two things that let this hotel down was the breakfast and lunch (we didn't bother eating at night based on the lunch we had) and the bed was extremely hard. Other than that, a great hotel for our budget. I would come back.

The owners are a small family that work the hotel togather. They take great pride in the hotel and it shows. I haven't a bad word to say about the place. Just great all around. The swimming pool is steller. The view from our room was stellar. The service was stellar.

We loved our stay here. we were given a sea-side room because there was an opening. the onlything that was not ideal wasw that there was a confusion with the payment. different websites gave us different information about renting a double room for 3 people..we ended up having to pay more than we thought for the third person.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday and spent most days around the pool which was very clean with plenty of sunbeds. We had two rooms and both were of a good size and very clean. The staff were really helpful. The location was good with a bus stop outside. This is a lovely island and a great hotel with breath-taking views and we would highly recommend it.
