I stayed overnight at the Landguard Lodge and couldn't fault it. John was fantastic - great communication and a very friendly welcome. My room was small, cosy, and I had a great night sleep!

Stayed overnight to go to the Mayflower Theatre to see Lion King. Walking distance to Theatre, and Town centre. Rail and Coach stations also close by. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

I stayed at this hotel for one night night, in a single bed room. The room itself was incredibly clean and decorated well. The bed was very comfortable and is one of very few hotels who provide two pillows to sleep on, which I was pleased to see. The bathroom, again, was clean and well presented. For guests who aren't familiar with Southampton, here was a lot of information to help tourists find things to do in the city. I had to leave early to get to the cruise terminal so I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast, but the owners were pleasant and the rooms were excellent - overall a great stay

Good quality room for the price and a very polite and helpful host. I did not have breakfast due to work commitments but I'm sure I would not have been disappointed if I had.
