Exceptional 10.0
The Hotel Rapallo is a lovely hotel set in the heart of Florence. We were given a warm welcome by Regina when we arrived, she enquired about our plans in Florence and recommended places to visit during our stay and Christian was on hand to take our luggage and guide the way to our room and go through everything with us. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean, although we had seen some other reviews saying about the noise of the traffic at night from the rooms at the front, our room was at the back of the hotel set onto a court yard and as such we heard no noise from traffic, lifts or other guests. All the staff were really helpful, jolly and friendly Larry and Rino attended to all our needs even ice packs when my wife twisted her ankle whilst out walking. At breakfast there was plenty of choice from continental, cooked, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses, Claudia who served us our drinks even remembered what my wife and I drank so the attention to detail in this hotel is top of the list. In an evening we asked for recommendations as to where we could eat, Regina and Alexandro had no problem recommending some lovely restaurants and they even booked tables for us, nothing at this hotel was too much trouble. We met Lorenzo on our last day and he was equally helpful and friendly. The Hotel Rapallo is a fantastic hotel and from my wife and I it comes highly recommended, it really made our stay in Florence a holiday to remember, thanks to everyone at Hotel Rapallo

The entire staff was amazing. GREAT check in with Lorenzo. Breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, eggs, sausage and amazing bacon every day. Also assorted meats and cheeses, cereals and yogurts. They also had toast, croissants, pastries, pies and cakes. Tea time was an added bonus every day from 5-7 pm with tea, coffee, cookies, sweets and mini sandwiches. Also free bottled water in room and to take on day trips. Mini fridge in room (they call it a minibar). Some English channels on TV; Free house shoes. Awesome shower. If you are used to staying in typical American hotels, be advised that there are no wash cloths in room which is common in Europe but a shock if you're used to using one. Lorenza and Melissa are helpful in the daytime and Alessandro is helpful in the evening. Dandy and Christian will serve you breakfast and tea. Ask for restaurants, and itineraries from them if your schedule is not fixed. They did not steer us wrong.

An amazing hotel to stay in Florence!
It was a great experience from check-in to check-out! We arrived at the hotel early and thought we needed to take some time until the check in hour, but our room was ready and we had an early check in. It was very good after 15 hours of flight! The breakfast was great every single day and Claudia always took a good care of us! Michela helped us to discover the city and made suggestions of places, museums and sightseeings that the majority of tourists don't go, but was very, very, very nice! The hotel helps the guest with reservations for some museums and tours. Michela and Regina really helped us with that! The check out was nice too, even at 3:30 AM. Thanks Alessandro for your attention! Each one of the staff made all the efforts to make our stay the best! Congratulations to Lorenzo, Michela, Alessandro, Regina, Rino, Claudia and the others we (unfortunately) didn't learn the name. You made out vacation unforgetable!

Awesome hotel
We had a great stay here. The hotel was nice and clean. It was fairly close to the main train station so we were able to walk to the hotel when we arrived and left. It was also quite close to most of the things we wanted to see. The staff were extremely helpful. They all spoke English quite well, which I don't expect, but certainly appreciate given I don't speak any Italian. When we first arrived they made went over the map of the city and pointed out where they key sights were and how to get to them (walking or buses). They also helped us book some tickets. Breakfast and afternoon tea were also included. We didn't make it for tea but the breakfast was great. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Very good 8.0
Hotel Rapallo was a quick taxi ride from the train station. The hotel is within walking distance to a park, many restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. Our room was clean, but on the smaller side (the shower in particular). As we discovered with many European hotels, there is no iron in the room. We called the front desk to request one & within minutes, one was delivered to our room. The front desk staff were very friendly & helpful, especially Alex & Lorenzo. I was experiencing tooth pain while here and they helped me to find 2 different endodontists & checked in with me periodically to see how I was doing which was much appreciated. The air conditioning and cold lemon water in the lobby were most refreshing during the July heat wave!
