Island Paradise
All the family loved Tangalooma Resort - wonderful activities to enjoy, great food and a tropical island paradise. So easy to access and close to home. We will definately be back!!

Terrible quality & service, at 5-Star prices
Avoid at all costs - incredibly expensive and terrible quality. Staff were lovely although most hadn’t no idea what they were doing, even when making a basic coffee or cocktail (whilst you pay 5-Star hire prices). Hotel food was seriously lacking in choice and tasted terrible. Even the local grocery store was very high priced. Location was stunning, shame you are let down by the terrible resort experience. Only good thing were the guides on the shipwreck snorkel tour. I’d suggest staying at a hired house not joined to the hotel and taking all your own groceries.

Very Good8.0
Not really good value for money
Whilst a pleasant stay with lots to do, the accommodation was not really good value for money. A revamp was well overdue. The bedding was old and worn and we even had sand in the bed. Grout missing in the tiles and the room was not really if a standard you’d expect for $260 a night.

My favourite visit to tangaooma
Growing up in Brisbane I've visited Moreton island and tangalooma resort many many times over the years! It had been quite a few years since I visited last though, and my partner had never been there so we visited just for 2 nights for our anniversary over the weekend. I have to say it was the best experience at the resort that I've ever had! They've completely renovated all the cafes, restaurants and reception area. When we checked in the lady at the desk told us we had dolphin feeding included in our booking and we can do that whichever night we choose... normally dolphin feeding is an extra cost (and not one that comes cheap) but it was 'included' in our accom which was nicest surprise when we found out! The staff are as lovely and helpful as always and the guys and girls that run the water sports and activities are the coolest people ever! They make the effort to get to know you and remember you as well, you feel like your apart of their community for a weekend, it's so so lovely! For me I remembered why I love this island and the resort so much! And for my partner he fell in love with the place and we cannot wait to return! Hopefully for longer than 2 night next time

Relaxing holiday
Tangalooma is a great place for a holiday! Beautiful calm beach for swimming or for taking walks- also lots of activities to get involved in, or if you prefer just laze by the pool. The wild dolphin feeding experience is a must to do and this is included with the stay.
