Good buffet breakfast. Very modern bathroom. Quiet rooms. Tiny elevator. Unfortunately the rooms had a musty smell, which probably stemmed from the lack of AC. I know November was cold, but it felt like 28 degrees in the room with the fans on max. Location is on the outskirts of Le Mans, there didn't seem to be much around, which was fine for us as we were only passing through.

Welcoming service and good restaurant, safely located with good access to beautiful lake walks. Property outside a little dated and rooms relatively basic, reception areas and bar very modern and clean. We ate here and the resto was excellent, there were 2 very large groups in from a local horse show but the service was nevertheless good. As English travellers on our last night in France, we enjoyed the fish for our dinner! 😄

Had asked for a twin room but hotel said yhey never received the request. Poorly laid out and limited numbee of twin rooms. A bit out of town too but there's a tram line right outside. Don't get yhe hotel to call a taxi, theyre more expensive than if you fo it yourself.

Very standard, almost motel style hotel. Small pool, nice restaurant. Reception staff at check in and check were both lovely and friendly, but restaurant staff were slow, rude and unhelpful.

We stayed in Novotel Le Mans. The hotel was very nice however we had a horrible incident occur and was told we would receive a full refund for our stay. My dad's room key wasn't working after breakfast Saturday morning. The front desk lady came up to fix it, not even the master key would work. The sensor was completely dead/broken. We waited 2 hours she still couldn't get in the room, we were extremely late for work and said we would come back when it was fixed. We couldn't wait any longer. My dad didn't have his computer, money, car keys, jacket, nothing it was all locked within the room. We then had to call a taxi to get to work and told the front desk lady that when they do get the door sensor to work to please call us and leave the door locked as we don't want our valuables being accessible. When we came back to the hotel, our hotel room was completely left unlocked and wide open, because they said 'well we didn't know if we could get back in'. We had a lot of valuables and money and specifically told them not to, which they had confirmed they understand and still deliberately went against our wishes because they weren't sure if they would be able to get it open again. They had no one there to monitor it or anything. They said they would have the manager call us Monday for a refund and to see how they could make this up to us. This whole situation was extremely hazardous, what if there was a baby or kid trapped in the room and they couldn't get in? or a fire?
