After checking in and unpacking we realised our toilet was not flushing. We left for our evening meal leaving the Manager to check the situation. When we returned later in the evening it took sometime to find out that we needed to switch rooms as the toilet couldn’t be fixed at that time. We moved to a different room, at the time of moving we wanted some water - we were surprised to be charged for this as it would have been a nice goodwill gesture. However the hotel was clean and good breakfast included just something that could have been avoided.

Overall Very Good, had AC issues.
Overall this is a good hotel, probably typical of what you would expect of a Holiday Inn. The price was good, it was comfortable and safe, the breakfast was good, it was right by Sainsbury's and a pub, and the staff was very helpful. Our main issue was we had 2 rooms, and each of them had air conditioner issues - either dripping water, random noises with the pumps, or not staying on. The staff was very helpful in moving us a couple times to find rooms with working AC. Overall I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Had requested a quiet room when booking. The room we were given had a fire door in the corridor outside which slammed shut every time someone went through This went on until the early hours of the morning. The shower was faulty. Turned it on button fell out of slot making it impossible to turn off. Reported both issues when leaving hotel at reception. All they could say was sorry. Poor customer relations
