    Save your money.
Rooms are terrible and unclean. Poor food choices, and overpriced. We all got food poisoning whilst there. You can’t drink the tap water. Bottle water is priced $7-14 a bottle. Would not return. Other equivalently priced hotels we stayed in were dramatically better.

    Spectacular location - food poor
Mana is a spectacularly beautiful island with great swimming and snorkelling. Having at least 3 beaches facing different directions makes it great no matter the direction of the wind. The place is very relaxed and also large enough to give a bit of diversity that suits young families, older kids, young and old couples. We will certainly stay again as it is quite magical although food options, quality of food and pricing of food are issues that detract from the experience. Whilst understand you are on Fiji time the service in main food area was very poor. The accommodation and main area are also starting to look a little shabby. If they can fix the food and sharpen the service just a little no island would compete with Mana.

    Too big, not personal
After Arriving from treasure island which was perfect we were disappointed with mana island. The Fijian staff are beautiful and kind but the Mana island management is not so good. These are the issues to be aware of; you can easily slide around the pool area. The tiles are very slippery when wet. My daughter fell three times. The food is not that great. There is No choice of contenental breakfast. The main eating area looks like Westfeild shopping Centre and doesn't have a Fijian feel. The tide was out every day when we were there so you could not swim in the day only early morning and late afternoon. Most days there was no towels and we had to wait for half a day to get towels. The chair cushions orange and green are dirty and stained. We were not when we were welcomed that we should boil our water or that we should get bottled water. So my husband got sick and had to take antibiotics. We reported to management these issues by the second day and were told that they would respond to our concerns but nothing happened even though notes were carefully taken. Our best experience on this island was visiting the local village and supportinb the local people and school. Anyway we won't be back to this island.

Great snorkelling, choose your room wisely
First room we had was terrible (300 block) mouldy curtains and filthy furniture. We then paid to upgrade and had a lovely 2 story room (600 block) which made the holiday much more enjoyable. Snorkelling is amazing with healthy corals both sides of the island. Meal plan is expensive but does include Crayfish.
