We stayed for Valentine's day and had dinner at Manny's. The room was nice enough, clean and recently updated. The water in the shower and sink was scalding hot and could not be adjusted. The lobby needs updating, it is loud and poorly lit. Feels like you are standing in a hallway.

I thought I would have everything in my room already but had to keep requesting things. The robes were terrible not soft at all and my room didn’t have a bathtub even though in the pictures clearly stated a tube would be available

Very attentive staff! We stayed New Years Eve and had crowds of people coming in and out of the elevators. Staff did their best to keep everyone social distancing and have face masks on properly!

Starting with the positives, the staff was extremely professional, polite, and accommodating. The inside of the building is beautiful and smells great. Unfortunately we had to change rooms twice. The bed in our first room smelled like urine; our second room didn’t have heat (essential in MN during winter) and eventually we lost power completely. Our third room was nice, though, we lost power to the bathroom and had to keep pressing the “reset” button on the outlets. I understand it’s an old building and comes with “quirks;” however, it made for a disappointing and exhausting one-night stay, especially since it was supposed to be a special and relaxing evening. The entire staff was apologetic and gave me a complimentary bottle of house wine. In the end, they also reimbursed my room.

Might have just been that I checked in at 8:45 pm but there was no attendant to be found. I called the front desk...could hear the phone ringing...no answer. 15 mintus went by before the attendant showed up. Hotel is basically closed...nothing is open in the hotel as far as services. The bathroom sind drain was clogged. Overall just not worth the price of admission. I wait until this property decides if they want to be open or closed before booking with them.

So exciting to stay in the landmark Foshay "Tower". I remember when it was the tallest building in Mpls! The renovation is spectacular!

Will definitely be back!! I stayed in a corner room at the Historic Foshay Tower and what a view it was!! The bed was so comfy, I had a great night sleep. Make sure you go up to the 30th floor to see the museum and to the observation deck.
