Pub stay.
The place was comfy and well located to shops coffeehouses and the pub downstairs. The restaurant was great and food was generous. All in all excellent service from all the staff. No problem to be had by family and was great for catching up with family members.

I have paid through Expedia. Check in staff taken my card and charged my card again without my consent and did not provide receipt. I understand mistake can happen but when i raised this issue,the same staff was very aggressive verbally and with his body gesture. * Avoid this place, your ID and bank card information is not safe with their staff who has less credible personality. The check in staff is just a wage earner there but his aggression, attitude, hatred in his look, rude body gesture and his continuous effort to pretend in-front of hotel guests that he is somebody is not helping this business at all. This is a great Sydney suburban hotel but run by wrong, not trustworthy, aggressive staff which will make the business go down hill very soon. However,Man with tattoo (may be the manager) was alright. I am not returning but i hope investors/license holder should take action asap that they can have their expected return/growth from this beautiful hotel has to offer.

Given this is so close to the train station, we expected it to be noisy but it was not. Room was spacious enough for three adults. The food in the bistro was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
