Great place!
Everything was great except the bathroom...my children could not operate the sliding door. It’s REALLY hard to open/close! Love the lobby @ the front desk was friendly & helpful.

Proximity to parks, the farmer’s market, public transit. Not a ton of food options nearby. Close to the hospital, so lots of sirens.

Overall, it's a great place for folks who want a more modern concept and excellent views of downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. On the downside, just getting inside to check in was confusing, because the building lacks clear signs for parking and entry. Then, there are plenty of lights in the room, but the switches need labels. Finally, the tiny coffee maker was neat, but I only had decaff coffee and had to make a Starbucks run to wake up.

Good
Did not offer any housekeeping for my three night/four day stay. I went to the desk on my way out for the day and asked if they could bring new towels and coffee.....never happened. I ended up having to get it myself and clean the room myself. Not what I would ever expect from a nicer hotel. I was told that due to Covid they “can’t enter rooms to clean”. I just drove cross country and never ran into this. Seems to me they would want to disinfect rooms daily.

Would stay again great for pets.
Nice hotel, staff was very friendly, attempted to answer our various questions about restaurants in the area during covid. Very pet friendly, close to Gold Medal Park and Starbucks, nice for walking the dog. Comfy beds and nice shower. First come first serve for free parking, about 10 spots, otherwise pay. Negatives: bar wasn’t open to grab a drink during the week and a/c unit was insanely loud.

Hallways and elevator were not cleaned but I think they are working with a skeleton staff due to the virus. Our rooms were very clean upon arrival and so was the lobby. The staff was super friendly.
