Fair 4.0
The sewer smell in the bathroom stayed all the three days of our stay. I notice this was a complaint in a previous review. I booked the hotel anyway hoping that this was already taken care of. The bedroom smelled musty. I had bug bites 2nd day. I am not recommending this hotel.

Nice stay at Valladolid
It is overall a very nice experience at Valladolid, 45 min away from Chichen Itza. Room was good, and the people at reception and the restaurant are all very cordial. In our stay, initially the AC was not working but 2-3 persons came quickly and fixed the issue. One possible improvement might be the language as most people in the hotel dont speak English

Good 6.0
A bit overpriced
When I arrived at the hotel with a reservation number they told me that the room was sold out and that I needed to pay $20.00 us more. After i told them I will call Expeedia my reservation reappeared. The hotel is quaint, the grounds are kept and is a very secluded and quiet area of Valladolid. However the beds are lumpy, rooms are a" has been," but the rates are not!

Valladolid stay
This was a great place. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were not many English speakers. Our only problem was the smell of sewer had in our bathroom. Our son and daughter did not have that problem in their two rooms. We would stay here again and plan to.

Typical Mexican hotel. Looks good from the outside but cheap inside Badly insulated room. Gaps around door so you can hear everything in hall way Ok for the price
