Dont waste your money
The staff is extremely rude. Wont even say hello back to you of you say hello. Wont answer any questions or give any help. Golf course is the same, poorly kept and managed. Would'ntlet us finish the last hole with 10 minutes till closing!

i heard good things about the hotel. finally decided to stay there. the stay would've probably been better before covid. there wasn't much to do besides gambling. i liked the cleaning procedures of the room. the shower pressure was a huge disappointment. there are other rooms here that i would still like to stay in.

The entire property was superbly clean. The room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed dinner and drinks at the on-site Grill restaurant on the casino floor. Property is about 10 miles from Downtown Santa Fe. Unfortunately, the pool was closed due to COVID. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

It was not posted clearly before we booked this resort that most of the restaurants are closed and pools/gyms are also closed! This casino and resort is pretty much dead, no happening at all! Rooms are old, couch seat is damaged and small refrigerator in the room does not cool your drinks. No microwave in the unit!

My new go-to mini-vacation spot
Now that I have a full-time driving job, this place is an oasis of luxury that could not possibly be more convenient for me! Had a full weekend off this time, and it was wonderful! Buffalo Thunder happens to be right on the route that I run. Beautiful hotel with a nice bar and casino. The pool and spa are still closed, but the staff do the best they can in light of this COVID 19 pandemic. Everyone I saw wore masks and followed social distancing, so my fingers are crossed that they can remain open! I would recommend this resort to anyone!

The property was very clean and spacious. Gorgeous artwork that was displayed throughout the whole place. The only thing was that much of the hotel was closed (spa, pool, restaurants) but we understood that it was due to COVID-19. We definitely plan on coming back and hopefully everything will be open and we will be able to enjoy all the amenities!!
