The hallway had a funny smell, took about 10 mins of running the hot water in the shower for it to finally come through but you couldn’t turn the cold water on as then the hot water would go.

This place with a little updating could be a real jem. Carpet is in need of replacement but hreat value, clean rooms but small.

The hotel smelt of stale smoke. My room wasn’t ready or cleaned. They changed my room three times until they found one that was clean. I will say that the two ladies serving me were actually lovely. So no complaints about them.

The location is perfect. The room was fine, but the showers were variable, with cold water one morning. The walls are also thin, meaning you could hear your neighbours

It was in a good location and the bed was comfortable and it had sachets of coffee sugar and milk. Maybe a toaster and microwave would have been great. Maybe get new towels as the one's we had were just about transparent. I understand the building is old and we were told to run the hot water for at least 5 minutes. It was more like 10 minutes before we had hot water. We were also told the front door to the building for security purposes would be shut around about 7:30 at 8 o'clock But this was not the case it was still open at 9:30. We had a random person come knock on our door and ask us for a phone charger about 10pm. We could hear doors slamming and people talking very loud and coming in and out the building up until about 1am. The room was described as a Deluxe corner room with ensuite. Photos of the rooms and descriptions make it look good and sound good but on site definitely disappointing when we walked in. Definitely not worth $169 a night. Wouldn't stay or recommend this hotel. We definitely feel after this stay we should be refunded.
