I think I had one of the older rooms in the hotel, and it was pretty dated. There were stickers on the headboard, alligator clips holding the curtains closed, a metal folding chair at the desk, and a rusty lamp with a cracked shade in the corner. The walls are quite thin so I heard everything that was going on around my room. The bathroom has weird art deco tile (which I actually kind of liked) and was in disrepair, but it was clean. The bed linens were clean and nice though, the bed was comfortable enough (though a little firm), and it was fine for what I needed. It was cheap and dog friendly so that worked for me. The location is good, convenient to restaurants and the freeway. There was plenty of parking. It looked like some of the other rooms were updated and nicer than the one I had so maybe my review would be a lot different if I had one of those rooms.
