Warning: Do not go if you’re after Winter Sun

This property shades 90% of the pool and beach area in December. There was also ongoing construction work. The guest relations staff lied continuously and made our visit very unpleasant - a gentleman called Irtaza in particular.

The hotel was really nice. Customer service was excellent. Bhupemder, who is part of housekeeping team was amazing and considerate and went over and beyond for us. The head chef at the Asian restaurant was amazing too, the staff at the restaurant knew it was our honeymoon and made our dinner so special. If you are looking for a chilled hotel to stay at - Highly recommend Rixos. There isn’t much around outside of the Marina Mall but I would stay there again and just explore and do trips but it doesn’t take away from the hotel stay which was absolutely lovely.

Low quality, overcrowded pool area do not book !

We booked this hotel with the understanding we were going to be staying at a top resort hotel. How wrong were we! We arrived and as the room was not ready went to the pool beach area. The pool was very overcrowded with loud music. As we could not get a bed we went to the beach area - agin no beds available. We were given a card each to obtain a small towel to use for the day. The resort felt like a budget all inclusive holiday resort rather than a luxury resort. I informed management that we were unhappy and wanted to check out. They had a negative attitude towards me and just said sorry no refund. We decided not to stay and checked into another hotel which was perfect. I would NoT recommend this hotel.
