Family trip to Charleston.
We really liked our recent stay at Alof. The hotel was in a great location close to great shopping and dining.We were very pleased with our room.Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and lots of amenities. Definitely recommend this hotel.😊

Not up to Aloft expected standards
The rooms are very dated and in need of maintenance. The toilet paper holder was broken in the room I stayed. The shower looked stained. The TV didn't have cable. I tried to call the front desk on several different occasions to ask for maintenance but the line was always busy. I decided to just watch TV on my computer. I needed to print out a contract and the business center printer didn't work. I will not stay here again.

Our stay was nice. The room was clean, but the ceiling needs something differ than a white one with the pieces showing where they were connected at. There was dogs barking across the hall from us. But they did get quiet when it was time to go to sleep.

NOT SO CLEAN AND COMFY
The bedding had a funny odor and a few stains on the duvet. The pillows were a bit worn. I didn't sleep comfortably. This was my second stay at Aloft and my first stay was very pleasant compared to my second. I did voice the same concerns directly to management and they followed up with me. They assured me they would make the necessary improvements.
