The property needs some serious maintenance and change of attitudes. The door of the bathroom did not close, the air conditioner did work, the room temperature was 27deg while set point was 20deg C. We were absolutely boiling.

Hotel is within walking distance from Gwangjang Market. It is around 1-2 subway stations away from the popular Myeongdong area. As such, the traffic can be very heavy during the peak period. Parking is limited. If all parking lots are taken, approach the front desk and they will direct you to park at a shopping mall/office building 5 minutes walk away. Staff are generally polite and helpful. Few speak English however.

This hotel was the best out of all the hotels we stayed while in Seoul. There is a convenience store right below the hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. When I checked out, I left something behind and was surprised that the hotel still kept it for me. Only thing I didn’t like was the shuttle bus to MyeongDong actually only runs on Friday.

Stayed in two different rooms. Both had no AC, it was pretty warm and impossible to sleep. If you ask for balcony, remember that you will face construction ( should be done in 2023), rooms with balconies are newer, however if you are tall, bathrooms are uncomfortable. The area is so so, due to many shops that sell all type of things for construction. However , if you like to walk the place is ideal for insadong and myongdong(20-30 min walk).train station is 3 blocks away, so airport bus stop. Hotel has good bakery , pizza , Indian restaurant and 7/11. Lastly, you can leave your luggage for free in self checked storage room( up to 8 hours) , after you can pay. What I did not like was that staff made me book another night, so I could leave my luggage for 3 days. Will I be back ? Def no, especially after 8 diffident hotels I stayed in and had compared them to PJ.
